Shipping, Returns, and Other Policies
Book Policies
Book Returns: All book sales are final. Books are not returnable, and may not be redeemed for cash.
Note: Goods that you have received in a damaged condition may be replaced at our expense, provided:
- You purchased the goods yourself directly from us.
- You notify us within 7 days of receiving the goods.
- You immediately return to us (at our expense) such damaged goods, if requested by us or one of our nominated representatives, such as a Fulfillment House or Shipping agent, contracted by us to fulfill your order.
Returned items may only be exchanged for a replacement of the original item.
Book Shipping:
We use USPS Priority Mail flat rate shipping for all domestic and international orders.
a. USA Domestic orders:
- Handling time: 1-3 business days
- Shipping time: 1-3 business days across the entire USA
b. International orders:
- Handling time: 3-5 business days
- Shipping time: 6-10 business days worldwide.
Book Refunds: Please check your order carefully prior to checkout to make sure it is accurate. Once an order has shipped we cannot offer a refund on the packing or shipping charges. If you discover after you have placed the order that you have made a mistake, your best recourse is to advise us immediately by email – we may be able to catch it before it ships – however this may not always be possible. Emailing us immediately offers the best chance of stopping the order from shipping.
Otherwise your only other recourse is to NOT accept the package when it is delivered – instead return it unopened to the return address indicated, and mark it “ordered in error”. When and provided the returned items are received by us undamaged, you will be offered a refund of the purchase price of the books, but you will not be refunded any packing or shipping costs. Either way – please advise us of your mistake.
Art Prints (Merchandise, Made-to-Order Items):
Our fine-art prints are produced on demand. Each print is custom-made specifically for your order by our printing partner — it is not stocked inventory, and it is printed only after you place your order. For this reason, art prints are handled differently from our books.
Because every print is made to order, art prints are final sale. Once an order has been sent to production, it cannot be cancelled, changed, returned, exchanged, or refunded.
This includes orders placed by mistake, changes of mind, and orders in which the wrong item, size, or option was selected. Unlike our books, refusing delivery or returning a print to us does not qualify you for a refund, because a custom print cannot be resold and its cost cannot be recovered.
Cancellations. We can only accept a cancellation before your order has been sent to production. Production may begin soon after an order is placed, so if you need to cancel, please email us immediately at contact@ringingcedarsbooks.com — the sooner you reach us, the better the chance we can stop the order before it goes to print. We cannot guarantee that a cancellation request will arrive in time, and once an order is in production, no cancellation or refund is possible.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect prints. If your print arrives damaged, is defective, or is not the item you ordered due to a production or fulfillment error, we will gladly replace it at our expense. Please notify us within 7 days of delivery at contact@ringingcedarsbooks.com and include clear photos of the item and its packaging so we can arrange a replacement.
Shipping address. Please make sure your shipping address is correct and complete at checkout. Prints returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address cannot be refunded, and re-shipment may require an additional charge.
